Dorset Discos Direct has been successfully providing Mobile Discos and DJ’s to events for the last 5 years. We know what makes a party successful and our team always ensure we do everything possible to make your night a success. We are able to provide music to cater for any personal tastes, and our DJ’s are always happy to take requests from clients (and their friends and family), both prior to, and during your event.
Music
We are proud to be able to offer all styles and genres of music to our clients as standard. We have a catalogue of more than 10 000 tracks, and every one is taken to each and every gig. From 60’s to swing, to R&B and chart music we can proudly cater for every style of party.
Top 30 songlists’
At Dorset Discos Direct we know that every client is different, and that the music played at every event will always be different from the last. This is why we encourage you to send us your ‘Top 30 Songlist’. This list is a personal selection of YOUR favourite songs. We will ensure these songs are played throughout your evening, mixed in with your friends and family requests on the night.
Compering Your Evening
We hear a lot of worried stories from our clients who have been to friends events where the DJ talked over the music all night, killing the atmosphere and getting on everyones nerves. At Dorset Discos Direct we always take the position that you have booked us to play the music you want, when you want it. This is why we will only use our microphone on your request or when important announcements are due. You are more than welcome to ask us to make announcements for you, or join us and make your announcements personally. We will work very closely with you on this.
Equipment
At Dorset Discos Direct we are very proud to offer you with state of the art sound and lighting equipment. We are constantly updating our equipment and will provide modern disco lighting, lasers and Mood Lighting at every event.
We supply a 1000w sound system as standard to every event, which is powerful enough to supply you with music for upto 150 guests. This does not however mean that we will play your music at a level that is uncomfortable for you and your guests! We are very considerate with volume control and will always adhere to requests.
Also, we importantly carry backup equipment to every one of our events to ensure that should any problems arise we can always carry on with the event.

Public Liability Insurance.
Public Liability Insurance is a must for any Mobile Entertainment Business. It not only covers us as a business but it also more importantly covers your venue too. This is why the majority of venues in Dorset will not allow performers to work in their premises without it.
We only ever supply DJ’s with Public Liability Insurance and would never work without it.
